Rainwater fall from the sky for free, by simply filtering then storing it you can water your garden or even pipe straight into your home and use the water to flush the toilet or do the laundry.

Recycling your rainwater has many advantages, first being; its free you can store as much as you want then reuse it how you want. Second is that rainwater is softer then tap water, which means that if you were to use the rainwater in you washing machine limescale would take longer to appear. If you were using the water for you garden, then some plants respond better to rainwater than tap water.

No matter how much it rains in Britian we always seem to need more water for our plants and gardens. By collecting your rainwater in an underground water tank, you we have a constant supply of water. These rainwater harvesting systems can be connected straight into you exisiting irrigation system them will never have to worry about your plants and garden not being water when your on holiday.

Once your system is setup their is no end to the uses of the water you save. You can connect a pressure washer to the tap outlet and use the rainwater to wash your car or even clean your patio.

DIY Rainwater Harvesting The Home.

Why not use rainwater to flush your toilet? or use rainwater to clean your plates?. Rainwater has many uses in the home this is just some of them. Once you have collected the water in the tank how do you get it out? the water pump inside the house will extract the water from the tank and them pump it up to where you need it.

Most people will have their rainwater pumped directly into their loft tank as this is what feeds most of the cold water tank and/or toilets and showers. Once the pump is the house there is no real end to the uses of the water, you can use tee peices and pipe off to different applications; Such as:

- Dishwasher
- Header tank
